Stenographers World Podcast

Among the fastest growing careers in America is Court Reporting. Far from the dated image of the person sitting outside the circle of participants “taking notes,” the modern Reporter with his or her software, multiple computers, video equipment and more is at the center of every event. Court Reporters travel internationally and stream proceedings from far reaches of the world, or they work remotely from home. They are no longer limited to reporting in the halls of justice.

Today’s Reporters can be found working as captioners, providing assistance to the hearing impaired, they can also be seen working at major sporting events, entertainment venues, conventions and scientific symposia streaming words across screens of all sizes and shapes throughout the world.
